Dear Vendors,

Southern Cultural Alliance is in the process of making plans for the 5th Annual Creole Crawfish Festival.  This year should be spectacular featuring Mississippi blues and Cajun/Zydeco
bands from southwest Louisiana, fresh boiled Louisiana crawfish, Gumbo Cook-off, art and craft vendors, Zydeco dance instruction and Zydeco dance contest, high school art contest on display, event t-shirts on sale, Zydeco Cruise for 2 drawing, door prizes and more.

Festival proceeds benefit ‘No Music Left Behind’ program that recycles band instruments to playing condition donating them to deserving students, schools and musicians in the North Mississippi area.  Southern Cultural Alliance is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization in the State of Mississippi.

We look forward to you being a part of this exciting event.  Vendors may set-up Thursday afternoon April 15, 2010 (time to be announced)  An application is enclosed for your convenience.  Vendor booth rates are as follows:

  • Professional Food Vendors   $200 per space
  • Apparel Vendors   $100 per space
  • Arts/Crafts Vendors   $100 per space

*Vendor space is an indoor area 12’ x 12’

Rules:
No solicitations for donations are allowed.  Spaces will not be held without the attached written application and payment in full.  All booths will be located indoors on concrete.  No puncturing of the concrete will be allowed.  Tables are not provided.  Food vendors must sell can drink products only (for recycling purposes).  Postmark determines booth fee.  Checks or money orders must accompany all applications.
No applications will be accepted after April 9, 2010.
No refunds will be given after the assignment of booth space is made.

Festival proceeds benefit 'No Music Left Behind' that recycles band instruments into playing condition donating them to deserving students, schools and musicians in North Mississippi.  If you have a band instrument that you would like to donate there will be a receiving station waiting for your instrument during festival hours.  Community support is needed and appreciated.
We are in the planning stages for the festival.  Creole Crawfish Festival is open for suggestions.
